Children from the reception class enjoyed a trip to the Coombe Martin Dinosaur Park on 28th June. The outing was designed to enrich the children’s project-based learning; they found out lots about a variety of animals and had a ride on a train too.
They saw owls being fed chicks, went around the meerkat enclosure and got sprayed with water by marauding (animatronic) dinosaurs!
Mr Hall and the whole school were able to hear just how much the children had learned when they talked about it in Friday assembly.
