Year 2 had a fantastic day at Tiverton Museum of Mid Devon Life, learning all about this term’s topic: World War II. So much fun was had during the jam-packed day of activities! The class thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to learn more about a variety of World War II topics. The topics included rationing food, farming during war time, the evacuee experience, Anderson shelters and the importance of ‘make do and mend’. It was wonderful to see how these experiences brought the topic to life for the class and enhanced their understanding. A big well done to all the children who came and represented our school so brilliantly.
