Adam Power, a parent of a YVPS pupil, has decided to take on the ultimate running challenge; the London Marathon on April 26th.

This is the first time that Adam has taken on this challenge and he has only been running for a short while. Adam has decided to use this inspirational event to raise money for 'Whizz-Kidz'.

Whizz-Kidz is a charity that offers support to young people and children with disabilities. They  provide custom manual or powered wheelchairs to transform the lives of disabled children by giving them the chance to develop their full potential.

The charity's vision is 'that all disabled children’s lives are full of fun, friendship and hope for an independent future. Just like any other kid’s.'

We wish Adam all the best in training and on the day! What an inspiration to all of us about how we can make a difference.
